Hi, everyone.  A counseling student has asked me about requirements to become a hypnotherapist.  I do not practice hypnotherapy and don’t know much about the requirements.  I know that according to F.S. 485.003 LMHCs can practice hypontherapy, but I am aware of no other requirements identified in statute or board rules and would assume that the ethical obligation to ensure competency through appropriate training and education would be necessary.  Are there any other requirements that anyone knows of?
