This training offers IPV general information for civilian and Veteran populations and specific information on how the Strengthen at Home (SAH) program is helping to treat military veterans who use violence in relationships.

Training objectives for participants include:

1. identifying three symptoms of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the impact on individual's functioning.
2. learning the tools to respond, educate, and refer individuals impacted by TBI and IPV.
3. identifying best practices regarding collaboration with medical and mental health professionals to assist in a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approach to care.
4. identifying the theoretical underpinnings of the Strengthen at Home (SAH) program and state how it differentiates from traditional Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) treatment.
