1:30 PM - 4:30 PM EST

Description: This workshop explores the unique challenges and strengths of individuals living with ADHD, framed through a clinical perspective. Participants will gain insight into how ADHD impacts attention, behavior, emotions, and relationships, while also discovering the creativity, energy, and resilience often hidden beneath the label. Together, we will reframe the ADHD journey as one of purpose, empowerment, and growth, helping parents, teachers, and caregivers better understand and support the children and adults entrusted to them.

Learning Objectives

Objective 1: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify at least three common strengths and three common challenges associated with ADHD, as measured by a group discussion and reflection activity.
Objective 2: Participants will demonstrate understanding of ADHD management strategies by developing one practical plan for supporting a child, student, or adult with ADHD in either the home or school.
Objective 3: By the end of the workshop, therapists will be able to describe two evidence-based therapeutic approaches for addressing emotional regulation and impulsivity in clients with ADHD
