Description: Bring Your Business Cards!

This interactive session will guide participants in using reflective listening, asking clarifying questions, summarizing, interpreting nonverbal communication, and giving and receiving feedback as they pursue the learning outcomes. By the end of the session, they will have created an “elevator pitch” about their skill set, identified other mental health service providers to whom they can make referrals, and examined local community support resources to expand their own personal inter- and intra-professional mental health community. The skills-based training will benefit both new and experienced professionals as a networking opportunity.

Learning Objectives

Objective 1: State a 30 second message for promoting your services.
Objective 2: Select at least one provider with a specialty that you may refer to.
Objective 3: Discuss and recommend local community support resources.
Objective 4: Describe one benefit from attending this presentation.
