Description: When grief is typically explored, it is through the lens of the loss of a loved one. This loss may be sudden and unexpected, or it may be a long painful illness one prepares for. However, grief takes many forms. This webinar will explore the various types of grief that clients may experience, mental health comorbidities that are experienced during those times, and ways clinicians can be more attuned to their client’s needs as well as treatment options. Grief can sometimes be a difficult subject, even for clinicians to discuss. This topic is often taught in universities with one course at the most, but the complexity of this topic goes way beyond a few weeks, and it is a topic every clinician will run into during their time practicing. This webinar will help to inform the clinician of how to better understand, approach and treat their clients with the subject of loss. Learning Objectives
