Hi, colleagues! I'm  putting a feeler out because the National Board of Forensic Evaluators (NBFE), which is a national not-for-profit board that partners with AMHCA to train and certify counselors to become forensic mental health evaluators, is looking to contract with a part-time clerical worker for some administrative support work.  I pasted information below in case any of you know a good candidate.  If you know anyone who is interested, please ask them email a resume to aaron@nbfe.net.  Thanks!

The Administrative Assistant (AA) position provides clerical support for the Executive Director (ED) of NBFE.  The AA is self-employed and provides work through a contracted rate.  The AA position is a remote, work-from-home position with flexible hours.  The AA must have reliable access to a quality internet connection, computer, phone, and voicemail.  Qualifications include the ability to type efficiently at a rate of 40 words per minute or higher, use a computer, navigate the internet efficiently, use web-based software (e.g., Gotowebinar/Gotomeeting, Wild Apricot, SurveyMonkey, CE Broker) with appropriate training and instruction, and communicate professionally and courteously through phone and electronic media. The position will start at a compensation of $425 per month with the potential future increases.  It is recommended that the AA budget approximately 10 hours a week (40 hours a month) to ensure timely completion of the following job duties.

    1. The AA’s duties shall include:
      1. Respond to email inquiries from CFMHEs, applicants/candidates, NBFE board and committee members, and the public within 48 hours.
      2. Send emails to applicants and candidates who are inquiring about certification steps using templates provided by the ED within 48 hours of applicant/candidate inquiry or request by ED.
      3. Transfer CFMHE application-related documents from SurveyMonkey and email to the appropriate Box candidate folders within 72 hours of submission.
      4. Check to ensure that candidates have submitted all required documents and completed all application fields and report application status to inquiring board and committee members within 24 hours of inquiry.
        1. Note: The AA will check emails at least twice a day. During each check-in point, emails from the Oral Examination Committee Chair inquiring as to the application status of CFMHE candidates who have submitted an oral examination will be prioritized and will be responded to immediately.  The Oral Examination Committee Chair is guaranteed responses during these two check-in points.
      5. Process training evaluation forms, report attendance to CE Broker within 24 hours of attendance and disseminate certificates of attendance to trainees within 72 hours of course attendance.
      6. Other assorted tasks as assigned by the ED shall be completed within a reasonable timeframe as agreed upon by the ED and AA (e.g., preparation of photocopies and training materials, internet research related to training events, creation of training events in Wild Apricot, CE Broker setup for training events, etc.).

Because weekend hours are optional and not mandatory, the above timeframes will not apply to weekends.  In the event that the AA is unable to meet the above deadlines due to illness, vacation/time off, technical issues/equipment malfunction, etc., the AA shall notify the ED and the board in advance, and the ED will complete the above tasks in the AA’s absence.
