Dear colleagues,
I discovered over the weekend that the folks from Trauma Resource Institute offered a webinar in using their Community Resiliency Model specifically in this time of the pandemic. I highly recommend it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mX3KTqFUA-E&feature=youtu.be
In the webinar they refer to their easy to use app (or on computer at iChillapp.com) that guides you thru easy to learn skills to get self back to the Resilient Zone when we notice we've gotten either way too stressed out or to exhausted/numb.
I am guessing that all of us have training in various types of trauma healing; what I love about their approach is that we can now use it to help our communities and clients prevent PTSD from this pandemic. I especially appreciate how Elaine and her team have synthesized some of the work of Dan Siegel, SE/Levine, and others to make it easily understandable.
Skills like these will become essential skills as our global community experiences more and more impacts of the converging crises of climate, economy, wealth disparities, destruction of great swaths of our planet and its creatures.
blessings on you , your families, and your work in this challenging time.
Mary Ann Holtz
