Thank you Tony, and thanks to the folks who work with you to support the men and women who have served.

Amen Tony , and BIG kudos. I once saw a number sticker that said, “If I have to explain, you wouldn’t understand.” What you do and all the many reasons you do it requires no explanation. I say next year we take it up a few notches, have a well thought out marketing plan and invite our local Congressmen to attend. We’ll talk, okay??

Please view, subscribe and share our Special Memorial for Families and Veterans who lost a Veteran to suicide. I want to thank American Legion Post 5's Honor Guard, Chip Shields, Pastor Springman, Carol Rasor, Linda Pugsley and JR Scoggin for making this a meaningful event.

Special thanks to Tampa City Council @luis Viera for his words.

Veterans Counseling Veterans is the only organization that holds a Memorial Ceremony for Veterans who chose suicide instead of life. There are some who feel I shouldn't have held this ceremony on Memorial Day.

They feel it marginalizes those who died in battle. I differ, as a combat Veteran, I don't differentiate how a Military or Veteran died. For me Memorial Day is a day of "remembrance" for all Military and Veterans who served and died to protect this great country. If you really want to eliminate the "Stigma" I recommend you we start with ourselves
