Hello everyone,
I am Daniel Pol, a doctoral candidate under the supervision of Dr. Robert Haussmann in the College of Doctoral Studies at Grand Canyon University. I am conducting a research study to explore how therapists perceive their most effective techniques in re-engaging clients into therapy.
I am recruiting individuals for a focus group that meets these criteria:
The participants that will be in this study must meet the following criteria:
- Mental health therapists from the southeastern United States of America, working with clients diagnosed with mood disorders.
- Must have at least two years of clinical experience of postgraduate training in psychotherapy and action-oriented models.
If you agree to be in this study, you will be asked to participate in:
- A focus group session, ~60 minutes or less, but no less than 30 minutes.
- The Focus group session will be audio and video-recorded to identify the participant speaking when analyzing the data.
- Focus group interviews will take place via Zoom.
Your participation in this study is voluntary, and no individual compensation will be given; however, the researcher will give away in a raffle, four $25.00 gift cards among focus group participants.
Participants' information will be protected by assigning pseudonyms or individual numerical codes to each participant. All participants' information obtained in this study is confidential, and confidentiality will be maintained unless disclosure is required by law.
If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact Daniel Pol at 727-520-3257 or dpol@my.gcu.edu.
