Moving Through the Tango with Racial and Cultural Attunement
EFT Tampa Bay presents Dr. Sharon Chatkupt Lee, Certified EFT Trainer from Portland, Oregon, for an 8 hour virtual training to sharpen our EFT Tango skills while applying the lens of race and culture.
Friday, Jan. 22 and Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, 12:00-4:00 EST
This workshop is designed to give the clinician a firm grasp of the EFT Tango while also coming back to the lens of race as we notice ourselves and our clients. With the Tango as our guide, we can tackle all kinds of complexities, like issues of racialized trauma, misogyny, power and homophobia, and use our work to free people from oppressive internalized structures. We can explore together the question, “What does it mean to be anti-racist and how do I embody this in my work with individuals, couples, and families?” With the EFT Tango we can be more oriented and confident. By providing simple guideposts for the clinician to ground ourselves, we are freed up to use more of ourselves in attunement and resonance. By looking through the lens of race, we will build awareness and stamina for seeing the way that race shapes experience.
