Medications can play a role in treating several mental disorders and conditions. They can reduce symptoms so that other methods of a treatment plan can be more effective. However, research shows all too often, Americans are taking medications that may not work or may be inappropriate for their mental health problems. Jacqueline Hubbard, M.D., will educate attendees on the types of medication errors that occur, the root cause of these errors and safety improvements.
