Continuity And Communications Committee

The purpose of the committee is to review the current processes for communication between Board members and make recommendations to maintain continuity and improve efficiency.

Objectives

The committee’s role will be carried out by the following tasks:

·      Contact committee Chairs and other Board members at the beginning of the membership year and quarterly, or as needed, regarding the role descriptions and any relevant changes or updates.

·      Hold C&C committee meetings quarterly, or as needed, to review and maintain current board member role descriptions on the website.

·      Review the website for updates and maintenance of role descriptions & coordinate any changes with the Executive Administrator.

·      Monitor the use of the Board Forum for communication and posting of meeting minutes, Treasurer’s reports, etc.

·      Establish and maintain an orientation procedure for new Board members as they come on the Board.
