Awesome, Ken.  I'm glad you were able to get scheduled even though it was cumbersome for you.  When I registered, it was quick and easy, but that was yesterday and things may have changed since then.  I got an email this morning from a SMHCA member who said that some therapists at her practice were able to get in today as well using the instructions we posted.  I went at 11am and it was a very quick and efficient process, though I had to wait for 15 minutes after the vaccination just so that they could make sure I wasn't having a reaction.  Let's hope that everyone who needs to get in can.

If you are an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, registered intern, or licensed psychologist, psychiatrist or APRN living in Pinellas County, you can schedule your COVID-19 vaccination for this week (until or unless all slots are filled).  I just reserved my appointment, as have the other therapists in my practice.  Here are the steps:

1. Visit https://www.patientportalfl.com/s/ and follow the prompts to set up your account and schedule an appointment.
2. Schedule your appointment using the code pinellasems#
3. When you attend your appointment, bring your photo ID, your printed appointment confirmation,  and a copy of your healthcare license (i.e., LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.) with you.

Our practice received this information from an officer at our local fire department who gave us permission to share the information on the SMHCA forum.
