OK, Jay! Thanks so much! I hope SMHCA members will want to attend. We've got some great proposal responses thus far. It is so interesting to see who all is out there doing some amazing work using interactive imagery, deep imagery, as well as guided imagery in helping folks dealing with trauma today, along with so many other health and emotional issues.

Thank you, Elena. I hope some of our members take advantage of this opportunity.

If you encounter any good presenters who would be willing to be a speaker for SMHCA, please pass their contact information along to our Professional Development Committee.

    Hello Fellow Members:

I am a past SMHCA President (27 years ago), and have continued my membership since. I am a member of another professional organization, Imagery International (I.I.),  based out of California. I.I. holds an excellent annual virtual conference every October for a reasonable fee. This year I am their conference chair. I'm attaching our conference flyer and including the website: imageryinternational.org. Once on the website go to Conference for more details. CEUs are provided for California therapists, nurses, etc. If you are interested in attending, you may contact our Florida licensing board for permission to accept the 9 CEUs earned from attending virtually.  This year's theme is Grounding In Imagery: Pathways to Empower & Thrive.  I hope you can attend! If you have any questions, email me at elena@parwil.com.

Also, I.I. is presently calling for proposals from anyone interested in presenting at this conference from now through May 15th! If you, or someone you know may be interested in presenting on how they use imagery in their practice including answering these two questions: How does your work with imagery help others become more grounded? How does it support empowerment, healing, and the capacity to thrive? I have attached our Call for Proposals flyer for further instructions. We would love to hear from you!
