Seeking a qualified substance abuse counselor to provide clinical services for adult outpatient private practice.  Qualified candidate will be responsible for managing a client caseload, providing counseling and support to individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use/addictions. 

Essential Duties:

Perform Biopsychosocial assessments

Develop individualized treatment plans

Facilitate group and individual therapy services to individuals with substance use disorder

Timely and accurate clinical documentation 

Maintain strict confidentiality standards 

Evaluate/Monitor client progress and maintain appropriate communication with referral sources

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum two years’ experience working with client with substance abuse issues

Pass criminal background screen

Ability to work evenings hours and have a flexible schedule

Preferred:

Master degree in a related field

Certified Addictions Professional 

Experience working with criminal justice involved clients
